Our Story

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Periods are a natural and essential aspect of a woman’s life. There should be no stigma attached to it. Every girl has a right to education, menstrual hygiene and ensuring her physical and emotional well-being. Lack of menstrual products or having a stigma attached to periods should not be the reason she is denied an education.

We recognize our responsibility to the environment and future generations. Our actions today, directly impact the world our descendants will inherit. Therefore, we strive to make sustainable choices in all aspects of our lives, including menstrual care.

Education is a powerful tool and we are committed to empowering individuals with knowledge about menstrual health, hygiene, and their corresponding environmental impact. Through education, we aim to eliminate misconceptions and promote informed choices.

We firmly believe that sustainable practices should be integrated into our daily routines. By choosing eco-friendly menstrual products, reducing waste, and supporting environmentally responsible initiatives, we contribute to a healthier planet for all.

In essence, our philosophy is rooted in compassion, education and sustainability. We stand for a world where periods are celebrated as a natural part of life, where menstrual hygiene is a fundamental right and where each of us takes responsibility for the well-being of the environment and our future generations.

OUR VALUES

At the heart of our values:

Equality

We ensure every girl has dignified menstrual care, free from suffering. We believe in universal access to hygienic solutions.

Sustainability

We champion environmental responsibility through reusable products that reduce waste and are eco-friendly.

Community

Our mission relies on collective support. We value inclusivity, encouraging collaboration for meaningful impact within communities.

Natural Approach

We prioritise natural, safe, and healthy solutions that align with our environment. We are committed to the well-being of people and the planet.

"Whatever motivates you, whatever change you want to see in the world, you need to be the one to create it. It's important that, as young people, we realise that we are the ones to make the change. We don't have to wait until we are adults to start doing things. If you want to make a change, you can do it now. Be the best you can and do what you want to do."

OUR FOUNDER

Meet Ahana, a remarkable young woman who, at the tender age of 16, had already discovered her passion for tackling inequality and a burning desire to make the world a better place. Ahana wasn’t content with merely recognizing the issues in our world; she was action-driven, eager to roll up her sleeves and effect real change.

It all began in 2020 when Ahana completed a triathlon, raising an impressive $10,000 for a charitable cause. While the accomplishment was significant, she couldn’t help but feel that a one-time effort wasn’t enough to create a sustained impact. This realization was a turning point for her, igniting a spark that would lead her on a transformative journey.

Ahana firmly believes that we all have a responsibility to leave this world in a better state than we found it. This sense of responsibility wasn’t just a casual notion for her; it was the guiding principle behind her actions. She was determined to carry not only herself but also everyone she could bring together to support the cause.

Her path took an even more meaningful turn when she embarked on a journey to her ancestral home in Bhirwadi, India. There, she witnessed first-hand the struggles faced by underprivileged girls who lacked access to proper menstrual hygiene. Ahana was deeply moved by their plight, and this experience reinforced her resolve to make a difference where it mattered most.

During her GCSE year, while most teenagers were focused on their studies, Ahana managed to set up this business that would become a beacon of hope for countless girls. Her mission was clear: to provide affordable and sustainable menstrual products, specifically period underwear, to underprivileged girls. But she didn’t stop there; she was eager to distribute these essential products as far and wide as possible, recognizing that the need extended beyond borders and boundaries.

Ahana’s determination knows no bounds, and she is always on the lookout for collaboration opportunities. She understands that the power to effect real change often lies in unity and cooperation. With an unwavering commitment to her cause, Ahana is not just a young founder; she’s a force for positive change, lighting the way for a brighter, more equitable future.
